Job summary

Adventist Health Columbia Gorge in The Dalles, Oregon, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide speech therapy for patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders. The role requires a Master’s degree and state licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and preferred ASHA CCC.

• Maintains documentation as required by law, establishment policy and administrative regulation.
• Instructs patients on ways to monitor speech and practice new skills.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Education and Work Experience

• Master's Degree or foreign equivalent: Required

Licenses/Certifications

• Speech Pathologist licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: Required
• American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC): Preferred
• Valid Driver's License (DL) and must be at least 21 years of age or older: Required

Facility Specific License/Certifications

• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS or AHA-CPR or ARC-CPR: Required
• OR-SLP: Required
• WA-SLP: Required
