Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Irmo is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, design, and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans for patients, helping them overcome communication challenges and regain confidence in daily activities.

You will document progress, adjust treatments as needed, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team within a leading nationwide rehabilitation network that values compassionate care and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or state certification required.
• CCC certification is preferred.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
