Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to deliver comprehensive voice and language rehabilitation across our network of inpatient facilities. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to support communication recovery.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC Certification obtained.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized speech therapy plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment if necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
