Job summary

SGMC Health in Valdosta, GA, seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to support the ACUTE REHAB department in a PRN, day-shift role. You will provide speech therapy services across age groups, including assessment, treatment planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities include documenting care, coordinating plans of care with physicians, and contributing to program development while upholding SGMC Health’s standards of excellence and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current ASHA CCC or CCC-eligibility with Georgia state licensure.
• Experience with adult and geriatric populations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full range of speech therapy services across age groups.
• Perform assessments, plan treatment, and implement interventions.
• Document care provided and coordinate with physicians and teams.
• Contribute to program development, quality improvement, and productivity.
