Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Middletown is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and deliver customized therapy for patients with speech and language needs in an inpatient rehab setting.

You will work within a team focused on compassionate care and evidence-based treatments, contributing to patient recovery while leveraging opportunities for professional growth and collaboration across our nationwide rehabilitation system.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology required or equivalent field experience.
• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC certification (ASHA) required or in process.
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language needs.
• Identify issues and modify therapy approaches as needed.
• Track and document patient progress and response to treatment.
