Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs. You will work in a supportive environment within the nation’s largest rehabilitation company, leveraging leading-edge technology to help patients achieve meaningful communication improvements.

You will join a team dedicated to compassionate care, ongoing professional development, and collaborative teamwork to improve patient outcomes and quality

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• CCC (ASHA) certification required.
• CPR certification required or to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluating patients.
• Assessing patients.
• Developing and administering personalized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment as needed.
• Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrating patient victories along the way.
