Amedisys in Norfolk, VA is seeking a part‑time Home Health Speech Pathologist to evaluate and treat adults in the home setting, addressing speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders. You’ll work to prevent, assess and treat and provide AAC support as needed.
The role emphasizes collaboration with families and care teams, ensuring personalized plans of care and therapy that promote healing at home. Eligibility includes SLP licensure and CCC-SLP, with CPR certification.
Part Time, Weekdays
Pay Range: $56.00/hr to $71.00/hr

Responsible for working to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication and swallowing disorders in adults.
Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to that state you are assigned to work.
*Note: If the SLP - CCC certification has not been obtained the candidate must be put into the SLP Clinical Fellow (100910) job. Clinical Fellowship (CFY) is the transition between student and independent which involves an SLP supervisor, hour requirements and mentoring.
