Job summary

Encompass Health is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, plan, and administer individualized therapy for patients with speech and language needs in a supportive inpatient setting.

The role emphasizes ongoing assessment, documentation of patient progress, and celebrating patient victories within a collaborative, technology-enabled environment at our nationwide rehabilitation company.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master’s degree preferred, or Bachelor’s degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
• Identify issues and modify speech therapy treatment as necessary.
• Track and document patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories along the way.
