Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Memphis, a partner of Methodist Healthcare, is seeking a Speech Pathologist to evaluate, develop, and administer individualized treatment plans for patients facing speech and language challenges. This role requires current state licensure, CCC, CPR within 30 days, and a master’s degree (or bachelor’s degree with field experience).

Qualifications

  • Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
  • Successful completion of Speech-Language Pathology Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
  • CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
  • Master's degree preferred, or Bachelor's degree with field experience.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluating, assessing, developing, and administering personalized treatment plans for patients with speech and language rehabilitation needs.
  • Identifying issues and modifying speech therapy treatment if necessary.
  • Tracking and documenting patient performance, progress, and response to treatment.
  • Celebrating patient victories along the way.
