Job summary

Encompass Health in Cleveland, Tennessee is seeking a Speech Pathologist to join our nationwide rehabilitation team. You will evaluate, plan, and deliver individualized speech and language therapy to patients, using advanced tools and a collaborative, patient-centered approach.

You will maintain progress notes, adapt treatment plans as patients improve, and participate in continuous education opportunities while contributing to a compassionate, values-driven culture at Encompass Health.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist per state regulations.
• CCC-SLP certification is required.
• CPR/BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, assess, develop, and administer individualized treatment plans for speech and language rehabilitation.
• Identify issues and modify therapy as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Track, document, and report patient progress and response to treatment.
• Celebrate patient victories as they progress toward communication goals.

Qualifications

• Current licensure or certification required by state regulations.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC).
• CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Master\'s degree preferred, or Bachelor\'s degree with field experience.

License or Certification:

• Must be in possession of current state license in Speech Therapy.
• Successful completion of SLP Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC), required.
• BLS (CPR) required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role.
