Job summary

Manchester Township School District is seeking a Speech-Language Specialist for an immediate opening at a Regional Day School. The candidate must hold a Master's Degree and a valid New Jersey educational service certificate with a Speech-Language Specialist endorsement (N.J.A.C 6:11-11.9) and other endorsements as required.

Qualifications

• Four years of excellent teaching/therapy experience preferred.
• Demonstrate ability to assess, treat, and provide strategies for prevention and remediation of speech, language, and hearing disorders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of speech-language pathology, child growth and development, learning assessment and diagnosis, research related to learning, instructional strategies, and classroom management.
• Understand rules and regulations regarding Child Study Team and special education assessment and program requirements.
• Ability to interpret and assist classroom teachers with the analysis of data.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the community.

• Hold a Master's Degree from an accredited college or university
