Job summary

Specialized Assessment & Consulting seeks a part-time, school-based Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to provide speech therapy and consult with school staff in Mercedes, TX and Edinburg, TX for the 2026-2027 school year. In-person, one full day per campus.

SLPA rates start at $42/hr with benefits and opportunities for professional development; Texas license and 2+ years school SLPA experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Texas SLPA license.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as an SLPA in a school setting with school-aged children.

Responsibilities

• Provide school-based SLPA services including speech therapy.
• Consult with school staff to support student progress.
• Assist with therapy plans and progress monitoring as needed.

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized, accredited college or university
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a SLPA providing speech therapy services to school-aged children
