This role involves working under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist and can be full-time, PRN, or part-time. Pediatric experience is preferred but not required. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and must possess a valid SLPA license. The role entails direct interaction with students to enhance their communication skills.

TIBS for Kids in Virginia is offering full-time, PRN, and part-time positions for an SLPA at all locations in Virginia (Fredericksburg, Springfield, Herndon/Ashburn). Pediatric experience is highly preferred but not required.
Under the direction and supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist, this position assists in supplementing, enhancing, and extending speech/language therapy services by completing a variety of tasks such as, but not limited to, direct activities with students designed to develop pre-language and language skills, oral‑motor control for speech production, vocalization, and use of assistive technology devices for communication. The Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) serves children who have identified speech and language disorders and may have other disabilities as well. This is a 12‑month position.
Range: $35–$55.00 per hour based on experience, availability, and qualifications.
