Job summary

SPG Therapy & Education in Ramona, CA is seeking a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support school-based services under supervision. You will assist with service delivery scheduling, prepare materials for therapy, and help conduct screenings following SLP-approved protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an SLPA program or Bachelor’s in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Completion of required field work experience.
• Current CA SLPA license or eligibility.
• Fingerprint background clearance.
• TB clearance.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating service delivery schedules.
• Perform checks and maintenance of equipment including augmentative communication devices.
• Provide clerical support (charts, records, graphs, data).
• Prepare and arrange materials for speech therapy as planned by supervising SLP.
• Conduct speech-language screenings using protocols developed by the SLP supervisor.
• Follow and implement treatment plans developed by a supervising SLP.
• Provide delivery of speech-language services under supervision of a licensed SLP.
• Document client progress toward meeting objectives/goals.
• Pursue professional growth through conferences, workshops, and coursework.
