Young World Physical Education is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist Assistant for the 2026-27 school year in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. The role involves supporting students with speech-language disorders under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist. Responsibilities include administering screenings, therapeutic treatments, and maintaining student records. Ideal candidates will hold an Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting and be registered with the North Carolina Board of Examiners.

Formación

• Completion of an Associate’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting from an accredited institution.
• Registration as an assistant with the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists.

Responsabilidades

• Administers screening protocols.
• Transports students to/from testing or therapy areas.
• Administers therapeutic treatment protocols written by the speech-language pathologist.
• Communicates with students and other professionals.
• Obtains case histories and completes observation checklists.
