Job summary

ACM Staffers seeks a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support licensed SLPs in serving high school students under supervision. This 1099 contract, part-time position offers flexible hours and competitive pay of $45-$50 per hour in the local market.

The Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) supports the delivery of speech and language services to high school students under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, supporting communication development to help students achieve educational and functional goals. The SLPA reports to the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Head of School and will work primarily with the SLP for service-related needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed speech-language pathologists in assessing and evaluating clients
• Implement and deliver treatment plans designed to improve speech and language skills
• Maintain thorough documentation and monitor client progress regularly
• Work collaboratively with school staff and other professionals to ensure coordinated service delivery
• Educate clients and their families on communication strategies and resources
• Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance clinical skills and knowledge

Requirements

Qualifications

• Current state certification or licensure as a Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical or school setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
