Job summary

Positive Development is seeking a Speech Language Pathology Assistant to provide in-home and occasional on-site services across Santa Barbara and Ventura counties. The role is part-time with flexible hours Monday through Friday, 9:00–5:00, and pays $40/hour for clinical work and $20/hour for admin/training tasks.

Work involves screening, implementing treatment plans, documenting progress, and coordinating with families.

Responsibilities

• Conducting speech-language screening, without interpretation, and using age-appropriate screening
• Following and implementing documented treatment plans or protocols
• Documenting progress toward meeting established child and family outcomes and reporting the information
• Conducting assessments, including, but not limited to, assisting with formal documentation, preparing materials, and performing clerical duties
• Scheduling activities and preparing charts, records, graphs, and data.
• Performing checks and maintenance equipment including, but not limited to, augmentative communication devices (AAC)
• Carry out in-home sessions specifically tailored to the child’s treatment plan.
• Attend weekly staff meetings and trainings prepared to contribute to discussions on cases presented
• Follow administrative requests such as keeping current notes, progress reports, employee certifications, or any other required documentation/renewals necessary for continued employment

Location: In-Home Throughout Santa Barbara, CA with occasional on-site support to Ventura, CA

Job Type: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Pay: $40 per Hour & $20 per Hour for Admin/Training
