Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Special Services License within 60 days of hire.
• Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communication, Speech Language Pathology, or Communication Disorders Speech Sciences.
• Completion of an approved School Speech‑Language Pathology Assistant Program.

Responsibilities

• Assist an SLP in assessment of students' communication skills.
• Schedule screenings and interventions with students and families.
• Follow documented treatment plans and document results.

Skills

Understanding of speech/language and hearing pathology

Ability to analyze and use multiple data sources

Collaboration and teamwork skills

Effective communication skills in English

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Speech Communication or related field
