Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a traveling Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation and treatment in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Moore, OK. The role emphasizes dysphagia care, documentation, and collaboration with facility staff.

Expect 8-hour day shifts, a 13-week assignment, and opportunities to mentor CFY candidates or student SLPs. Applicants should hold CCC from ASHA, an active Oklahoma license, and LTC experience.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • CFY or Level II clinical experience; Level I not eligible.
  • ASHA CCC required.
  • Active Oklahoma state SLP license prior to start.
  • 1 year LTC/rehab or skilled nursing experience preferred.
  • Competent in dysphagia evaluation and standardized tools.
  • Ability to document accurately in EMR and track minutes.
  • Ability to supervise CFY candidates or student SLPs.

Overview

Minimum Requirements
  • Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) or equivalent Level II experience; new graduates acceptable only if Level II clinical experience completed (observation-only Level I does not qualify).
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA is required.
  • Active Oklahoma state license to practice as an SLP is required prior to start of assignment.
  • Experience in long term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility or inpatient rehabilitation settings is required (minimum 1 year preferred by client).
  • Demonstrated competency in dysphagia evaluation and treatment and use of standardized assessment tools.
  • Ability to document accurately in electronic medical record systems and record treatment minutes per regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to supervise and support CFY candidates or student SLPs.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.
  • Adherence to ASHA and state practice acts, code of conduct, and ethics during professional practice.
Assignment Details

  • Shift Name: Days.
  • Shift Details: 8 hour days, 35 GWW.
  • Weekend Requirement: None.
  • Duration: 13 week assignment.
  • Required Certifications/Licenses: Active OK State License; ASHA CCC.
  • Clinical Requirements: Minimum 1 year SLP experience; LTC or rehab experience required.
  • Supervisory Role: May supervise CFY or student SLPs during assignment.
