Job summary

Jackson Therapy Partners is seeking a Traveling Speech-Language Pathologist in Houston, TX. You will deliver SLP services across NICU, pediatric, and adult units, providing evaluations, treatment plans, and ongoing care in a travel contract.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• CFY completed and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA (CCC-SLP)
• Active Texas State License to start the assignment
• BLS Certification may be required from AHA or ARC
• Neonatal experience
• Modified Barium Swallow Study experience
• Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services across NICU, pediatric, and adult areas.
• Evaluate and treat communication and swallowing disorders and develop treatment plans.
• Collaborate with medical team and document in Meditech EMR.
• Follow unit guidelines and maintain required dress code.

• Neonatal Experience
• Modified Barium Swallow Study experience
• Current Texas State License in Speech-Language Pathology

Assignment Details

• Hours: 0800-1700
• Floating required to NICU, Pediatric, and Adult areas.
• Weekend and on-call requirements are not applicable.
• EMR: Meditech Magic/Meditech Expanse
• Dress code: Dark Blue scrubs.
• Unit guideline: Bare below the elbows in the NICU.
