Job summary

THERAPY 2000 is hiring a Speech Language Pathologist to provide home-based pediatric therapy in the Tomball/Stagecoach area. You will evaluate, plan, and deliver therapy, partnering with families to support growth and development in a comfortable home setting.

Ideal candidates hold a current Texas SLP license, have 3+ years of pediatric experience, and bring home-health expertise. Certifications in feeding therapy are a plus, with opportunities for continuing education and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active Texas license to practice Speech Language Pathology.
• 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist.
• Experience in a home-health setting.
• Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or related disciplines (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.).
• Flexibility to shift resources and priorities based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive Speech-Language evaluations using standardized tests.
• Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Create home exercise programs with caregivers.
• Collaborate with other providers to coordinate care.
• Complete required patient visits weekly as directed by the agency.
• Maintain timely chart updates, progress notes, and call logs.
• Engage with agency staff to uphold quality standards and expectations.
• Adhere to all agency policies, codes of ethics, and laws governing home-health pediatric SLP services.

Responsibilities

What you’ll do:

• Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations, using standardized tests to determine patients’ needs for therapy.
• Use your clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physicians’ orders.
• Develop home exercise programs in partnership with patients’ caregivers.
• Act as a vital member of your patients’ medical neighborhoods, collaborating and coordinating care between various providers and disciplines.
• Complete a minimum number of patient visits on a weekly basis as required by the agency.
• Meet deadlines for completion of patient chart updates, progress summaries, call logs, and all other paperwork as needed.
• Meet with agency personnel as necessary to maintain understanding of expectations and standards related to delivering high-quality patient care.
• Perform all duties in compliance with agency policies and procedures.
• Adhere to all rules, regulations, codes of ethics, guidelines and federal, state and local laws applicable to home-health pediatric speech language pathology.
