Job summary

Talented Medical Solutions in Athens, TX, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide skilled therapy in accordance with state and federal regulations and facility guidelines. You will evaluate patients, develop treatment and discharge plans, and deliver therapy to improve communication and swallowing.

Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams and families, you will document services and maintain infection control standards.

Qualifications

• MS/MA in Speech-Language Pathology required; CCC-SLP eligibility or CFY eligibility may be considered.
• Current state SLP license required.
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills.

Provide skilled speech, language, and swallowing therapy in accordance with state/federal regulations and facility guidelines.

Responsible for patient evaluation, treatment planning, and delivery of therapy to improve communication and swallowing function.

Responsibilities

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and treatments for patients with speech, language, and swallowing disorders
• Develop and update individualized treatment/discharge plans
• Document services in compliance with regulations and facility standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, patients, and families
• Maintain compliance with all infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (MS/MA)
• Current state SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or CFY eligibility
• Strong communication and clinical problem-solving skills
