Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Jellico, TN. This PRN role supports resident care with therapy services and accurate documentation in NetHealth EMR.

Must have a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology, CCC and an active SLP license in the state of practice, with ongoing professional development. Competitive pay and benefits are available based on status and hours worked.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals as appropriate.
• Evaluate and obtain data for treatment planning and implementation.
• Develop treatment plans with target list, short-term, and long-term goals.
• Instruct patient, family, and staff in speech-language procedures for carryover to daily activities.
• Complete CMS-compliant documentation in NetHealth EMR systems.
• Oversight and implementation of FEES/MBS protocols and coordination of site programs.
• Participate in screening protocols to meet residents' needs timely and with clinical excellence.

Job Position: Speech Language Pathologist for an In-house Skilled Nursing Facility

Job Type: PRN

Job Purpose: To assist in planning, organizing, developing, and directing Speech Language Pathology services in accordance with current applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, and as may be direction by Administrator, to assure the highest degree of quality resident care is always maintained.

Job Functions:

• To provide quality speech therapy services and initiate referrals when appropriate, in accordance with established standards of practice, therapy department procedures and productivity standards.
• To evaluate and obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation
• To develop a treatment plan that includes a target list, short-term, and long-term goals
• Instructs patient, family, and staff in appropriate speech-language procedures to allow carry over of therapeutic remediation and goals in daily activities
• To complete compliant and medically necessary documentation from CMS expectations in NetHealth EMR systems
• Oversight and implementation of proper protocols for FEES/MBS with coordination of site programs
• Participants in screening protocols for establishing needs of residents are being met timely and with clinical excellence

Education & Qualifications:

• Certificate of Clinical Competency
• MUST have active SLP license in state(s) of practice.
