Job summary

Soliant is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to work in a school-based setting just outside Portland, ME. You will assess and treat students, develop IEP goals, and collaborate with teachers and families to support student success.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in SLP, Maine licensure, and CCC (preferred). This contract role offers weekly pay, comprehensive benefits, licensure support, and relocation or travel stipends if eligible.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Active SLP license in the state of Maine (or willingness to obtain).
  • CCC certification preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience working with children in schools is highly valued.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress
  • Maintain thorough records and provide regular updates on student performance
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to educational planning
  • Stay current with best practices and continuing education in the SLP field
