Job summary

E-Therapy is hiring an onsite School Speech-Language Pathologist in Hagerstown, MD for the 26/27 school year. A Maryland SLP license is required, with support for licensure if not already held.

The role is full-time, onsite, starting August 2026, at $51 per hour, commensurate with experience. You will provide comprehensive speech-language services to PreK-12 students, collaborate with school staff, and support IEP goals while growing your credentials and impact within a mission-driven

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Current ASHA certification required
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Proficiency with assessment tools and therapy techniques used in pediatric SLP.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessments and student needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services addressing articulation, language, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the educational team to support classroom goals.
  • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and activities in sessions to promote development.
  • Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans to optimize outcomes.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress notes, and relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on speech and language needs.

Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic team at E-Therapy. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in providing speech and language therapy services to students in PreK-12 schools, helping them develop communication skills and overcome speech and language disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication abilities.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans and goals based on assessment results and students' needs.
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, targeting areas such as articulation, phonology, language comprehension, fluency, and pragmatic skills.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication goals in the classroom and other educational settings.
  • Incorporate evidence-based techniques and therapeutic activities into therapy sessions to promote speech and language development.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to facilitate optimal outcomes.
  • Document therapy sessions, progress reports, and other relevant information accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and provide input regarding students' speech and language needs.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • Current ASHA certification required
  • Passionate about working with K-12 students
  • Experience providing speech-language therapy services in a school or pediatric setting.
  • Proficiency in assessment tools and therapeutic techniques commonly used in pediatric speech-language pathology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems and other assistive technology used in speech-language therapy (preferred).
