Job summary

Orange Tree Staffing is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide education-based therapy in Puyallup, WA for the 2026-27 school year. In-person school-based position serving preschool through high school populations.

You will assess, plan and implement evidence-based interventions, collaborate with teachers and families, participate in IEP meetings, and stay current with best practices. Competitive weekly pay and unlimited CEUs are included.

Qualifications

• SLP state certification is required.
• ASHA certification is preferred.
• Experience in educational settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions to improve communication skills and support academic success.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate speech and language goals into students’ educational programs.
• Attend and contribute to IEP meetings, providing clear reports and updates on student progress.
• Monitor progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on ongoing assessments and collaboration.
• Maintain accurate documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, and progress reports.
• Stay current with best practices through research and ongoing professional development.
