Job summary

ProCare Therapy is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to support K-12 students across Michigan communities such as Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit. The contract role offers about 35 hours per week with on-site priority; virtual VOCO placements may be considered for qualified candidates.

Ideal applicants hold a Michigan SLP license (CFYs with supervision considered) and have experience with urban student populations.

Qualifications

  • CFYs must have proper supervision in place.
  • Experience supporting K-12 students in school-based settings is preferred.
  • Ability to provide official university transcripts prior to submission.

Job description

An exciting contract opportunity is available for Speech Language Pathologists with a passion for serving K-12 students in dynamic school environments. This role spans several vibrant communities in Michigan, including Grand Blanc, Lansing, and Detroit, offering you the chance to make a significant impact in diverse educational settings. Immediate placement is available, with assignments running through June 2027.

Ideal applicants hold state licensure in Michigan and bring experience or strong interest in working with urban populations. Certified SLPs are especially encouraged, though outstanding Clinical Fellows with a temporary license and an established supervisor will also be considered. The role supports a full-time workload of approximately 35 hours per week, providing continuity and meaningful engagement with students and the school community. Onsite presence is prioritized; however, experienced professionals with a history of success in virtual settings may be considered for VOCO placements.

Qualifications
  • Current Michigan SLP license (CFYs must have a temporary license)
  • SLP-CCC credentials preferred; CFYs considered with proper supervision
  • Experience supporting K-12 students in school-based settings
  • Ability to provide official university transcripts prior to submission for consideration
  • Knowledge of challenges facing urban children and resource strategies for student and family support
  • Commitment to full-time availability through the academic calendar
