Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients in home settings, under physician supervision. The role may involve work in single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care.

Qualifications include current SLP licensure, valid driver’s license with automobile liability insurance, and the ability to drive in all weather with dependable transportation.

• Must be able to drive in all weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the state of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy in home settings under physician supervision.
• Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication and voice disorders.
• Work in patients’ homes or other care settings per patient needs.

Responsibilities

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in a home setting, under the care of an attending physician. At Enhabit Home Health & Hospice, the home setting may include single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care.

The SLP evaluates and treats patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and those requiring alternative or augmentative communication. At Enhabit, an SLP may often work with patients who have experienced a stroke, and those with progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s disease and dementia.

Qualifications

1. Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
2. Must possess automobile liability insurance.
3. Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
4. Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
5. Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
6. Currently licensed as an SLPin the State of Employment.
