Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist for a part-time role in the Salisbury, MD area. The position provides home-based therapy to clients, under physician prescription, to improve communication and swallowing abilities.

The SLP will work 24 hours per week over four days, with eligibility for Enhabit’s paid time off program and a comprehensive benefits suite for eligible staff. A valid state driver’s license and auto liability are required.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, evaluate and provide speech therapy services to home-bound clients as prescribed by the physician.
• Treat patients with speech disorders, swallowing therapy, and hearing impairments that affect communication.
• Assist patients recovering from stroke or other neurological disorders.

Responsibilities

Our Speech Language Pathologists supervise, evaluate and provide speech therapy services to clients in a home setting as prescribed by the attending physician. The SLP treats patients with speech disorders, swallowing therapy, and hearing impairments that affect communication. In addition they participate in helping patients that may be recovering from a stroke or other neurological disorders.

This part-time salaried position works 24 hours/week, over 4 days in the week, and is eligible for our 60% paid days off program.
