Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver in-home speech therapy services in Hartford, CT. The role focuses on assessment, treatment, and collaboration with the care team to support patients with communication, swallowing, and cognitive challenges.

The part-time position requires CT licensure and reliable transportation. You will work across home visits, coordinate care, and participate in patient progress documentation within the Enhabit network.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CT SLP license.
• Reliable transportation to patient homes.
• Must be able to drive safely in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech therapy services to home health clients as prescribed by the attending physician.
• Supervise and evaluate patients with speech disorders, swallowing therapy, and hearing impairments.
• Support patients recovering from stroke or other neurological events in a home setting.

Responsibilities

Our Speech Language Pathologists supervise, evaluate and provide speech therapy services to clients in a home setting as prescribed by the attending physician. The SLP treats patients with speech disorders, swallowing therapy, and hearing impairments that affect communication. In addition they participate in helping patients that may be recovering from a stroke or other neurological disorders.

This part-time salaried position works 24 hours/week, over 4 days in the week, and is eligible for our 60% paid days off program.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.
