Job summary

Interim HealthCare Inc. is seeking a part‑time Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide in‑home therapy in the Akron/Canton, OH area. The role focuses on treating hearing, swallowing and language impairments with one‑on‑one patient care, flexible scheduling, and visit‑rate compensation.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice as an SLP in the applicable state.
• Current CPR/AED/BLS/First Aid certification.
• Reliable transportation to patient care locations.
• One year of professional experience practicing as an SLP in home health or similar setting.
• Home health experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in‑home programs to treat patients' hearing, swallowing, and language impairments and limitations.
• Evaluate patients' speech and language abilities, identify areas of strength and areas needing improvement, and perform periodic reevaluations.
• Plan and provide rehabilitative services for speech and language conditions, selecting and administering appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic techniques.
• Record treatment types and patient responses in clinical and progress notes, maintaining accurate patient records and summary reports.
• Educate caregivers and family members on ways to assist patients with improving, managing, and adapting to their conditions.

As a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), you will:
