Job summary

Metro Therapy, Inc. in New York state provides pediatric Speech-Language Pathology services through the Early Intervention program, including home or center visits.

The role includes evaluations, progress tracking, and delivery of IFSP-mandated therapies while collaborating with families and educators to support each child. The position requires a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, ASHA credentialing or CF eligibility, and state licensure with DOH approval.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent, ASHA-acceptable.
• Licensed, certified or credentialed as required by state.
• DOH approval required.
• ASHA CCC or CF status eligible for Clinical Fellow.

Responsibilities

• Provide Speech Therapy services to children in Early Intervention settings (home or center).
• Perform evaluations and track child progress.
• Deliver services as mandated in the IFSP.
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators and professionals to support child goals.
• Complete documentation and progress notes.

Qualifications:

• Must possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.

• Must possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow, or ASHA clinical fellowship (CF status).

• Must be licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.

• DOH approval is required.

Posted Salary Range: USD $70.00 - USD $75.00 /Hr.
