Job summary

AVIR AT COTULLA, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehabilitation center, is seeking a full-time Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team. The SLP will evaluate and treat residents with speech, swallowing, cognitive disorders, and related conditions in compliance with state and federal guidelines.

Under the Rehabilitation Manager, you will contribute to programs in cognition, memory care, dysphagia, voice, and maintenance.

Qualifications

• Licensed TX SLP required.
• Experience evaluating and treating speech, swallowing, cognitive disorders is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat residents and patients with speech, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities under Rehabilitation Manager.
• Provide therapy for cognition, memory care, dysphagia, voice, and maintenance as part of in-house team.

JOB SUMMARY:

Under the supervision of the Rehabilitation Manager, Evaluates and treats residents and patients with temporary or long-term speech, hearing, swallowing, and cognitive disabilities in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
