Job summary

PAM Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Aiken is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our inpatient team and care for a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior hospital experience or a strong desire to learn in a fast-paced setting.

As a full-time SLP, you will assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop individualized plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient recovery and discharge planning.

Qualifications

  • SLP license in the state where the hospital resides.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • One year of clinical experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct patient care with planning and implementing treatment programs for speech therapy.
  • Involve in development of services and adapt to facility needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes.

Overview

We are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and care for our diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.

Responsibilities

The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) will be primarily responsible for direct patient care, planning and implementing specific treatment programs for individuals according to the principles and practices of speech therapy in the PAM Health. The Speech Language Pathologist will additionally be involved in the further development of the services. The Speech Language Pathologist must be flexible to meet the needs of the company within many different facilities.


Qualifications


  • Education and Training: SLP license in the state where the hospital or clinic resides. Current BLS certification required.

  • Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
