Job summary

Vital Therapy is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our in-house therapy team at Avir at Tomball, a skilled nursing and post-acute rehab center in Texas. You will treat orthopedic and neurological conditions and design programs in cognition, functional maintenance, dining, dysphagia, aphasia, and successful return to home.

Qualifications

• Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license required.
• Experience with cognitive, dysphagia, aphasia therapies is a plus.
• Ability to work within an in-house therapy team and coordinate with nursing staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-house speech-language pathology services to residents.
• Develop and implement therapy programs for cognition, dining, dysphagia and aphasia.
• Support successful return-to-home goals and ongoing rehabilitation planning.
