Job summary

Powerback Pediatrics in Chicago, IL is seeking an Early Intervention Speech-Language Pathologist to serve birth to three children in natural environments. You will assess, plan and implement therapy, and document progress under IFSP guidelines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct speech-language pathology services to birth-to-three children, including assessment, treatment, IFSP planning and documentation.
• Conduct evaluations and assessments and update the IFSP as needed.
• Establish treatment schedules and deliver services per IFSP mandates.
• Educate families/caregivers and collaborate with team members.

Responsibilities

Our Early Intervention Speech Language Pathologists provide and direct speech therapy services to children aged birth to three, including assessment, treatment, program planning and implementation, related documentation, and communication.

• Provides occupational therapy services to children aged birth to three.


• Performs evaluations and assessments and makes updates to the IFSP.


• Establishes treatment schedule and delivers services as mandated in the IFSP.


• Participates in family and caregiver education.

Qualifications

• They must possess a master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Communication Disorders, Communicative Disorders or similarly titled area that is consistent and acceptable to the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.


• They must possess or be eligible for a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or be eligible to participate as an ASHA Clinical Fellow, or ASHA clinical fellowship (CF status).


• The Speech Language Pathologist must be licensed, certified or credentialed, as required in the state of practice.


• Early Intervention Temporary or Full Credential.


• Effective written and verbal communication skills.


• Effective leadership and customer relationship skills.


• Ability to exercise mature judgment with initiative in analyzing and solving problems.


• Treats all clients with dignity, compassion, empathy and respect.

Posted Salary Range

USD $52.00 - USD $56.00 /Hr.
