Centra Healthcare is seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment at a great school. The clinician will work with an interdisciplinary team to deliver skilled speech therapy services according to physician orders.

The ideal candidate holds an SLP-CCC, has graduated from an accredited program, and is licensed or in the licensure process for the state. This contract offers competitive pay and housing options for a local or travel assignment.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited program is required.
• Current state license as SLP or in process for licensure.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop a care plan.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services per physician orders.
• Assess needs, plan, evaluate and modify care for speech therapy goals.
• Set realistic goals to improve communication and swallowing in educational, vocational, and social roles.
• Candidate must be an SLP-CCC.

Requirements include:

• Must have graduated from an accredited school.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP.
• Work within an interdisciplinary team to develop a plan of care for each patient.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services / interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assesses patient needs, plans for, evaluates and modifies care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop, or recover, reliable communication and swallowing skills so that the patient can fulfill their educational, vocational and social rolesCandidate must be an SLP-CCC.
