Job summary

Select Specialty Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) for a per diem role. The position requires current state licensure and BLS, with a CCC preferred. Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive evaluation of communication skills and/or swallow function.
• Deliver goal-oriented treatment to maximize communication and/or swallowing potential.
• Participate in monitoring the quality of Rehab Therapy Department services.
• Engage in peer review for staff performance and appraisals.
• Assist in development of SLP programs and revise departmental policies/procedures.
• Maintain adequate stock of supplies.
• Share professional knowledge and alert management to educational needs.

Compensation: $60.00 per hour
Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association required.

• Assists in the development of the SLP role in programs and services, as well as revising the departmental policies and procedures.
• Assists in maintaining an adequate stock of supplies.
• Exhibits willingness to share professional knowledge and experience. Alerts the Manager to educational needs.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required.
• Certified BLS or completion in first 90 days of employment required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language & Hearing Association.
