Job summary

Adoration Health is expanding to Winter Garden, FL and seeks an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to provide 1:1 patient care across settings including independent living, assisted living and outpatient. The role emphasizes flexible hours, clinical autonomy, and patient-centered outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology with active licensure, CPR certification, and a commitment to evidence‑based therapy.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid SLP licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Current CPR certification.
• Two-step TB test clearance.
• Auto insurance proof.
• Preferred: 1 year of SLP experience.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapy interventions.
• Familiarity with independent living, geriatric and home health settings.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate safety recommendations, and provide referrals and education resources.
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordinated care and enhanced patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders
• Regularly re‑assess effectiveness of treatment plans, attend staffing meetings and family conferences
• Perform discharge evaluations, make appropriate recommendations for safety, and provide referral and education resources
• Communicate patient’s needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, person receiving services and family members
• Communicate with other disciplines to ensure collaboration, coordination of care and enhance patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice
• Current Live CPR Certification
• Two‑step TB skin test required
• Proof of Auto Insurance
• Preferred: A minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist
• Demonstrates knowledge of evidence‑based therapy interventions
• Familiarity with assisted living, independent living, geriatrics and/or home health
• Communicates effectively and professionally in verbal and written interactions
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
• Moving, lifting, or transferring patients which may involve lifting up to 100 pounds following safety procedures
• Duties require fine motor skills, visual acuity, and walking/standing for extended periods
• Additional physical requirements include pushing/pulling, bending/stooping, reaching, kneeling, and frequent positioning
• A health screen or examination may be required prior to assignment and periodically thereafter, depending on specific location policy, local and state regulations to verify employee is physically capable of performing assigned duties with or without reasonable accommodations
