Job summary

Synchrony Rehab, a subsidiary of Trilogy Health Services LLC, seeks a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to provide a full range of speech-language pathology services within an interdisciplinary team.

Must hold an active or pending state license (SLP) and have a Master’s in Speech Language Pathology. CPR certification is preferred. Experience is 0–1 year, with opportunities to contribute to assessment, planning and therapy across patients.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Current state SLP licensure required or active/pending.
• CPR certification, preferred.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans with measurable goals.
• Provide therapy to improve communication and swallowing in daily life.
• Educate patients and families about disorders and therapy techniques.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, progress, and plans.

Job Summary The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP), is responsible for providing a full range of speech-language pathology services including assessment, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position's qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards.

Licenses and Certifications Must have and maintain a current, valid state SLP licensure Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred or required Current valid CPR certification, preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to identify speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders through clinical assessments, standardized tests, and patient interviews.
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on assessment findings, setting measurable goals to address patients' specific needs.
• Provide therapy to improve patients’ communication skills, including articulation, language comprehension, voice modulation, and fluency, as well as swallowing and feeding abilities.
• Educate patients and their families about the nature of disorders, therapy techniques, and strategies to support progress and enhance communication and swallowing in daily life.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and treatment plans in compliance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
