Barrette Workforce Solutions, LLC is partnering with a Bronx, NY school to hire a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time day-shift position. This role welcomes new graduates and offers a supportive school setting focused on children with disabilities.

You will perform assessments, develop IEPs, deliver therapy, and collaborate with teachers and families while maintaining detailed documentation and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist is required.
• ASHA CCC-SLP certification is required or in good standing.

Responsibilities

Job Type: Full Time. Monday - Friday. Day shift.

Our client, a school dedicated to supporting children with disabilities, is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for their Bronx, NY location.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assessment & Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests and observations to identify and assess speech and language difficulties.
• Intervention Planning: Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) with specific goals, therapy strategies, and measurable outcomes tailored to each student.
• Therapy Delivery: Provide individual or group therapy using techniques like articulation drills, language stimulation, and play-based interventions.
• Collaboration & Consultation: Work with teachers, parents, and professionals to support student communication needs and overall development.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain progress records, write reports for IEP meetings, and communicate findings.

Job Requirements:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current New York licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
• Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
• Strong understanding of child development and typical speech and language milestones
• Pediatric experience preferred, but not required.
