Job summary

HealthPro Heritage is seeking a Part-time Speech-Language Pathologist for our Murphy, TX facility. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, provide evidence-based therapies, and support patients and families in communication and swallowing disorders.

The role emphasizes collaboration with a multidisciplinary team and accurate documentation, within a therapist-led, patient-centered setting that values clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
• Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, voice, and swallowing; diagnose based on tests and observations.
• Deliver evidence-based therapies; monitor and adjust plans; educate patients and families.
• Document evaluations, progress, and treatment plans per standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations of speech, language, voice, and swallowing abilities using standardized tests and clinical observations. Develop accurate diagnoses based on assessment results.
• Treatment and Education: Implement evidence-based therapies for speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders; monitor and adjust treatment plans; educate and support patients and families on disorders, treatment strategies, and daily communication improvement.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Collaboration: Work with healthcare providers to ensure effective patient care and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed.

Qualifications

• Certification: Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) (CCC-SLP).

Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems, with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
