Job summary

Children’s Therapy Place, Inc. seeks a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for our Mountain Home clinic. This outpatient practice provides speech, occupational, physical, and mental health services to children, with a mission to support families and caregivers through collaborative therapy services.

The role requires a Master’s degree, Idaho licensure, and ASHA CCC-SLP certification, with a focus on individualized treatment plans and family education within a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
  • 1) CCC-SLP certification from ASHA required.
  • 2) Idaho state licensure required.
  • 3) Ability to collaborate with families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Provides Speech Therapy services to clients and initiates referrals.
  • Evaluates clients to gather data for treatment planning.
  • Develops treatment plans with short and long-term goals.
  • Coordinates treatment plans with family and other professionals.
  • Implements and conducts treatment plans as outlined.
  • Monitors client response and modifies interventions as needed.
  • Documents assessment results and progress.
  • Adapts treatment to individual client needs.
  • Recommends equipment to improve communication.
  • Instructs clients and families in augmentative communication devices and home programs.
  • Participates in client, family, and staff education.

Children's Therapy Place, Inc. is currently recruiting for a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist for our Mountain Home clinic. We are an outpatient pediatric therapy practice with locations in the Treasure Valley and Magic Valley, providing speech, occupational, physical, and mental health services, along with behavioral and developmental support.Our mission is to support children and those who care for them through collaborative, innovative therapy services. We value compassion, teamwork, and a commitment to helping children reach their potential, and we are seeking individuals who align with our mission and values.What you’ll do:Provides Speech Therapy services to clients and initiates referrals when appropriate and in accordance with Speech Therapy Department procedures.Evaluates clients to obtain data necessary for treatment planning and implementation. Conducts specialized evaluations as indicated.Develops treatment plans by identifying a problem list, including short and long term goals and methods to achieve identified goals.Coordinates treatment plan for client and provides copies for family and other professionals.Implements and conducts treatment plan as outlined in treatment plan.Monitors client’s response to intervention and modifies treatment as indicated to attain goals in accordance with physician orders.Documents results of clients’ assessment, treatment, follow-up, and termination of services.Adapts treatment to meet the individual needs of the client.Recommends and obtains appropriate equipment to improve client’s communication.
