The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Boca Raton, FL seeks a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. The SLP will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders, helping them reach their highest level of independence.

Qualifications

• Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist license required or in good standing.
• CCC certification preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, or healthcare settings.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to work in an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals.
• Provide speech therapy services to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function.
• Monitor resident progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary team members to support resident outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation per regulatory and facility standards.
• Educate residents and families regarding therapy programs and goals.
• Participate in care planning meetings and discharge planning processes.
• Ensure compliance with all facility policies and procedures.

The Legacy at Boca Raton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our rehabilitation team. The SLP will evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders while helping residents achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents with speech, language, cognitive, communication, and swallowing disorders

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on resident needs and goals

• Provide speech therapy services to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function

• Maintain a safe, organized, and supportive therapy environment

Qualifications

• Active Florida Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license in good standing

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred

• Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or healthcare setting preferred

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
