Job summary

The position is a permanent, hourly role based in Alameda, CA, offering a competitive pay rate of $65 per hour and a standard 8:00 am – 4:30 pm schedule. Experience in rehabilitation preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.
• Active Speech-Language Pathologist license.
• Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to develop individualized treatment plans for diverse patients.
• Rehabilitation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing difficulties.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapy to improve communication and swallowing function, as appropriate.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions based on clinical findings.
• Maintain accurate assessments, treatment notes, and progress reports.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team.
