The role involves evaluation, treatment, documentation, and collaboration with physicians, nursing staff, families, and students. A Master's in SLP, state licensure, and BLS within 60 days are required; supervise clinical fellows where appropriate.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology required.
• Current licensure as a Speech Therapist through the State Board of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
• BLS certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Evaluate and treat patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders across diverse patient populations.
• Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized plans of care based on each patient's clinical needs.
• Provide evidence-based interventions and adjust treatment plans based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Document evaluations, treatment, progress, and recommendations in accordance with clinical and professional standards.
• Collaborate with patients, families, physicians, nursing staff, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
• Provide patient and family education and counseling to support treatment goals and continuity of care.
• Assist with discharge planning and recommendations for continued therapy or supportive services.
• Supervise clinical fellows, students, and support personnel as appropriate.

Our client, an established acute-care hospital in Ada, Oklahoma, is currently seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join their team. This is a strong opportunity for an SLP interested in a hospital-based setting with exposure to a diverse patient population and a broad range of speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
