Job summary

Blaire House of Worcester, a 75-bed skilled nursing center, is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The role involves administering and directing speech/language pathology treatments for residents, evaluating and planning care, and helping patients regain maximum function in daily life.

The position offers full-time, part-time, or per diem options in a senior care environment focused on dementia and Alzheimer’s care, with benefits such as 401(K), vacation time, and discounts.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology is required.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Minimum one year clinical experience with the same age group.

Responsibilities

• Administer and direct Speech/Language Pathology treatments as prescribed.
• Evaluate, plan, direct and treat all patients referred to speech/language.
• Pathology treatments to restore function and prevent disability.
• Assist patients to achieve maximum performance and normal life within disability.
• Participate in infection control, safety and educational programs.
