Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for the 2026-2027 school year in Southgate, MI. This full-time role supports a collaborative special education team in a stable school district.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology with an active Michigan SLP license (or ability to obtain). ASHA CCCs preferred; CFs encouraged to apply. SCHOOL-BASED experience is a plus, strong communication and organization are essential.

We are actively seeking a dedicated and student-focused Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join a supportive school district in the Southgate area for the 20262027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside a collaborative special education team while helping students strengthen their communication skills and achieve academic success.

What You'll Do:

• Provide speech and language therapy services to students with a variety of communication needs

• Conduct evaluations and develop individualized education programs (IEPs)

• Collaborate with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success

• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines

What You Bring:

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology

• Active Michigan SLP license (or ability to obtain)
