FOX Rehabilitation is expanding in Saint Joseph, MO and we’re looking for licensed Speech Language Pathologists to deliver exceptional one-on-one care to older adults in residences or Senior Living Communities. You’ll improve mobility, independence, and quality of life through our Geriatric House Calls model.

This role offers autonomy and flexibility, with the freedom to design and manage your own treatment schedule, while building lasting relationships.

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice or eligibility to obtain.
• CCC-SLP certification is preferred.
• Experience with EMR and basic computer tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Speech Language Pathology to older adults at homes or in senior living settings.
• Perform evaluations and develop plans of care.
• Deliver evidence-based treatment to improve communication and swallowing.
• Document in the EMR per regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (PT, OT, SLP, Fitness Specialists).
• Educate patients, caregivers and staff to support safety and aging in place.
• Offer telehealth/virtual care when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one Speech Language Pathology to older adults at their homes, private residences, Senior Living Communities, Independent Living, Assisted Living, or Memory Care settings.
• Perform evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver evidence‑based treatment.
• Deliver therapy sessions that support patient wellness, longevity, mobility, and functional independence.
• Document effectively in FOX’s EMR system in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of PTs, OTs, SLPs, and Fitness Specialists.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and senior living staff to promote safety, function, and aging in place.
• Provide telehealth/virtual care when appropriate to extend access and flexibility.

Employment Types Available

• Full‑time Speech Language Pathologist – In‑Home & Senior Living Care (salaried with benefits)
• Part‑time Speech Language Pathologist – In‑Home & Senior Living Care (salaried with benefits eligibility based on minimum hours requirement)
• PRN / FOX Flex Speech Language Pathologist – Home & Community Visits (pay per unit compensation)

Qualifications

• Valid Speech Language Pathology license in the state(s) of practice, or eligibility to obtain
• Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program
• Basic computer and EMR proficiency
• Current CPR certification
• Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC)

Physical Requirements

• Exert medium physical effort, including lifting 25–50 lbs occasionally, 10–25 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly.
• Perform CPR.
• Provide moderate to maximum assistance with patient transfers and bed mobility.
• Reposition patients, stand/walk for extended periods, climb stairs, and perform therapeutic activities.
• Drive to patient homes and senior living communities as part of the Geriatric House Calls model.
• Wear PPE when required.
