Job summary

Soar Autism Center in Rockville, MD seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to join its on-site team. You will provide center-based therapy for children aged 2–6, develop AAC-based communication plans, and work with BCBAs, OTs, psychologists.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Communications Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program.
• License to practice speech pathology.
• Preference for 3+ years of experience, but open to new SLPs.
• Experience with AAC or willingness to learn with our teams.
• Ability to connect and engage with young children.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site SLP services for children ages 2–6 in a center-based setting.

• Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals, including co-treatments with the occupational therapy team.
• Monitor client progress, update treatment plans, and communicate changes to team members and families.
• Partner with client families to develop goals, build relationships, and support them in their journey.

What You'll Do
